Entering the season, so many diseases that began to spread in the community such as dengue fever, Chikungunya, diarrhea, filariasis etc.. Chikungunya & Dengue fever is a disease spread by mosquitoes, which for dengue fever is one disease that claimed many in Indonesia. DKI Jakarta alone has experienced extraordinary events of dengue fever in 2007, where since January – April 8, 2007 recorded 10,942 dengue cases with the number of deaths reached 41 patients. Patient’s own death usually occurs because of delays in treatment due to patients coming to hospital was in critical condition & dangerous.

Dengue fever itself is divided into 2 of dengue fever (DD) & dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a more severe form of dengue fever, bleeding & shock, which can sometimes occur that result in death.
The disease is characterized by a high incidence of sudden fever, stomach pain, vomiting, & headaches, which for dengue hemorrhagic fever is usually accompanied by other symptoms of bleeding that generally appear on days 3-5 post-shock of fever & bleeding.
